Serbian soprano Marija Jelic and American pianist Anthony Manoli present Rachmaninoff’s Russian songs, opera arias written by master composers Verdi and Puccini including repertoire from Turandot, Madame Butterfly, Forza del destino, and Otello. Marija is a singer with emotive sound and attention to musical detail along with her acting abilities. She has performed with Elīna Garanča and Jonathan Tetelman, and this season has performed alongside Placido Domingo and Jose Cura.
