On June 10, for one night only, experience the music and majesty of Show Boat, Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II’s masterpiece, as you’ve never heard it before. Reserve your seats now for an unforgettable gala concert performance at Carnegie Hall.

Based on the Edna Ferber’s epic novel, Show Boat’s gripping story follows the lives, loves, and heartbreaks of three generations of show folk as their floating theatre, the Cotton Blossom, plies the mighty Mississippi River.

Thrill to the music of Kern’s magnificent score, as a dream cast under the direction of Francesca Zambello, together with an orchestra and chorus by Paul Gemignani, send such great songs as “Make Believe,” “Ol’ Man River,” “Bill,” “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man,” and “Life Upon the Wicked Stage” soaring. Generations of music lovers have delighted in the vibrant magic of Show Boat – and now you can too.
