CLUB QUARANTINE LIVE WITH D-NICEWednesday, July 12 at 8:00 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage The legendary artist, DJ, and photographer D-Nice has moved millions on wax, on stage, and now online with his revolutionary virtual Club Quarantine. Less than one year after his sold-out Carnegie Hall debut in August 2022, he returns to the Hall for another Club Quarantine Live: a dynamic, multi-genre dance party celebrating music, community, and love. Special guests will include702,Bun B,DJ Clark Kent, Israel Houghton, Kathy Sledge, Kenny Burns, Lloyd,Scarface, and Igmar Thomas’s Revive Big Band. The evening will be hosted by Chris Spencer. |

NATIONAL YOUTH ORCHESTRAFriday, July 14 at 8:00 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage The National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) performs a Carnegie Hall concert as a part of the ensemble’s coast-to-coast North American tour. The performance is conducted by Sir Andrew Davis and features the world premiere of Giants of Light by Valerie Coleman, commissioned in celebration of NYO-USA’s 10th birthday. The program also features Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique and Barber’s Violin Concerto, highlighting soloist Gil Shaham. NYO2Saturday, July 15 at 8:00 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage A new generation of orchestral musicians is proudly showcased in NYO2, "a superbly talented youth orchestra" (New York Classical Review). ARTURO O’FARRILL AND THE AFRO LATIN JAZZ ORCHESTRAFriday July 7 at 7:00 PM Bryant Park Between 40th and 42nd streets and Fifth and Sixth avenues | Manhattan The multi-Grammy–winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO) is an 18-piece big band of jazz and Latin-jazz virtuosos led by the inimitable Arturo O’Farrill. MAGOS HERERRA FEATURING THE KNIGHTSFriday, July 21 at 7:00 PM Bryant Park Between 40th and 42nd streets and Fifth and Sixth avenues | Manhattan Celebrating the release of her latest album Aire, Mexican jazz singer Magos Herrera performs with her phenomenal sextet and chamber orchestra The Knights. Herrerais “one of the great modern singers of our time” (Latin Jazz Network), who “stretch[es] the very notion of jazz singing … into a sound that’s bold, thrilling, and effortlessly global” (NPR). Her latest recording features original compositions (commissioned by Chamber Music America’s New Jazz Works) as well as selections from the Great Latin American Songbook. Written largely during pandemic isolation and now performed live for audiences in Bryant Park, Aire has become “a way to reach out … to heal each other by coming together and celebrating our humanity with compassion and gratitude.” |
