UN Chamber Music Society Music Therapy Concert
with Musicians from The New York Philharmonic

This concert, presented by the UN Chamber Music Society of the United Nations Staff Recreation Council, is in support of the Helen Sawaya Fund, a philanthropy program headquartered at Mount Sinai Health System. The mission of the Fund is to enhance the experience of cancer patients using complementary therapies, including music therapy, with the belief that music holds the power to help alleviate pain and ease side-effects while reducing physical and emotional stress. Opening remarks are delivered by Melissa Fleming, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications.
