Both born in Taiwan, Yung-Fang Hu Ludford received a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas College of Music and Yi-Ling Lin earned a Master’s degree from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Since 2016, they have performed in venues throughout China, France, Italy, Russia, Taiwan, and the U.S. This concert features traditional opera arias and art songs' Chinese folk songs, and new music by Taiwanese women composers including Li-Ping Fan, Wen-Tze Lu and Mei-Chen Liu. This concert is accompanied by Dr. Lisa Weiss on piano.
