CARNEGIE HALL PRESENTS

Cancelled: Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

Monday, November 2, 2020 8 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Lahav Shani by Marco Borggreve
Have an “I was there” moment when Lahav Shani makes his Carnegie Hall debut as the new music director of the illustrious Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Praised for the “seemingly effortless way he communicated to the orchestra yielding playing of remarkable sureness and eloquence” (The Baltimore Sun), Shani leads the orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s dramatic Symphony No. 4 and Beethoven’s rhythmically propulsive Symphony No. 7.
