T Bone Burnett by Joch Cheuse, Joe Henry by Jacob Blickenstaff
Two iconic producer-performers come together for one extraordinary double bill, hosted and curated by Rosanne Cash. Renowned for producing innovative albums by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, and Elton John, T Bone Burnett was also behind the soundtrack for films like Walk the Line and O Brother, Where Art Thou?. His stellar performing career is anchored in his fluid guitar-playing and thoughtful songwriting. Mentored in part by Burnett, Joe Henry has earned his own share of acclaim for producing albums by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Allen Toussaint, and Rhiannon Giddens. As a singer-songwriter, he’s established his own deeply personal and marvelously eclectic style of storytelling with inflections of rock, folk, country, and jazz.
