Teddy Abrams by Christopher Briscoe
Teddy Abrams, music director of the Louisville Orchestra, is a “rock star” (CBS News) who is leading the ensemble into a new golden age. Hear what the buzz is all about in an all-American program that features the premiere of an orchestral song cycle composed and performed by another rock star, Jim James of the famed band My Morning Jacket. Abrams also leads the orchestra in Copland’s classic Appalachian Spring, including new choreography performed by members of the Louisville Ballet, and Andrew Norman’s Sacred Geometry.
