Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter Youssou NDOUR has been named one of the world’s “50 Great Voices” by NPR and has electrified Carnegie Hall audiences with every appearance. The voltage will be turned up higher when the Sengalese superstar returns with his band Super Étoile de Dakar for an evening of mbalax, his country’s fusion of classic African praise-singing, percussion, and guitar-based pop.
