Since March 2020, people have had to foster resilience. Musicians confront various challenges, some internal to their vocation and others externally imposed. This program traces some of the external difficulties that composers have faced, including experiences of exclusion imposed on immigrants, women, and other marginalized groups, and the resilience in the face of those challenges that finds expression in their music.
