Song of the Redwood-Tree: The Music of Sunny Knable

MSR Classics presents a concert featuring music by award-winning composer Sunny Knable in celebration of his second composition album. Featured performers include bassoonist Scott Pool and pianist Natsuki Fukasawa who together commissioned both The Busking Bassoonist and Song of the Redwood-Tree, which will be sung by soprano Stefanie Izzo.  This concert will include two world premieres written for Trio Cabrini and Parhelion Trio, as well as a performance by violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn with Barbara Podgurski.
