Hye-Gyung Ji, Piano

Pianist and educator, Hye-Gyung Ji, makes her Carnegie Hall debut in a recital featuring Romantic works by composers Clara and Robert Schumann, Samuel Barber’s exploration of American musical idioms, and Beethoven’s monumental “Appassionata” sonata. She is a Professor of Piano at South Plains College in Texas. Recipient of an “Excellence in Performance” award by the music honorary society Pi Kappa Lambda, Ji has given recitals, lectures, and masterclasses throughout the United States, South Korea, and Malaysia.
