Experience the music of Star Wars like never before when The New York Pops takes you to a galaxy far, far away. Steven Reineke leads the orchestra in a brand-new program that includes music from all nine films in the Skywalker saga as well as the two anthology films, Rogue One and Solo—all in chronological order.

 

Calling all cosplayers! Wear your favorite Star Wars–inspired outfit to this performance for a chance to be featured on Carnegie Hall’s social media channels. Stop by the photo station in the Weill Café (off the Parquet level) before the performance or during intermission to have your photo taken—plus you can pick up free Star Wars–inspired buttons exclusive to the evening’s event. Our favorite costumes will be shared on Facebook and Instagram following the performance.

Event Duration

The printed program will last approximately two hours, including one 20-minute intermission. 

Costume Guidelines

To maintain a safe environment for all, the following items will not be allowed—please be mindful as you plan your costume!

  • No hate symbols
  • No toy guns or prop guns
  • No PVC lightsabers or prop lightsabers
  • No metal or heavy plastic shields
  • No prop bow and arrows
  • No selfie sticks

If any prop or costume is deemed unsafe by Carnegie Hall security, or could be perceived as threatening to others, it will not be allowed inside the venue.
