Journey to Love and Peace
Sunday, October 23, 2022 7:30 PM Zankel Hall
Chinese pianist Dr. Chen Wang incorporates East Asian philosophy and western classical music. While working towards a double performance major in piano and percussion in the U.S. on a full scholarship, Wang discovered the interconnection between the two, and developed her own performance style. From Chinese poetry in the Tang Dynasty to Italian Renaissance literature, Wang will explore the connections among nations, people, and nature.
