Get Happy: A Judy Garland Centennial Celebration

Monday, December 12, 2022 8 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Judy Garland
Get Happy celebrates the life and artistry of the legendary Judy Garland. Her Carnegie Hall debut in 1961 remains one of the Hall’s most storied evenings and a high point in the career of one of show business’ greatest stars. On the heels of her sold-out Carnegie Hall concert last season, Broadway’s Jessica Vosk (Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof) brings Garland’s unforgettable songbook back to life—accompanied by an orchestra alongside rare performance footage of Garland herself—in this one-night-only celebration of an artist whose legacy continues to inspire fans around the world.

For one night only on December 12, Carnegie Hall is thrilled to display the iconic, sequined jacket Judy Garland wore during her historic concert at the Hall on April 23, 1961. Visit the Rose Museum before the performance or during intermission to see this piece of history in person. The Rose Museum is located on the second floor of Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage (adjacent to the Blavatnik Family First Tier) and is free to all ticket holders.

Judy Garland’s jacket is on loan from the Get Happy! Collection. #JudyGarlandExhibit
