Love, loss, yearning, and joy are felt alike, and every culture expresses them in powerful music. Conceived and recorded by Rhiannon Giddens and Francesco Turrisi during the recent lockdown, this program explores the longing for the comfort of home as well as the metaphorical “call home” of death.
