The literary masterpiece "The Grapes of Wrath," is reimagined for operatic theater by Ricky Ian Gordon and Michael Korie. The performance features the narrative that captivated the American imagination since its publication in 1939, as the ensemble embarks on the harrowing journey to California, seeking hope amidst adversity. Led by Artistic Director Ted Sperling, 120 singers from MasterVoices and Orchestra of St. Luke’s bring this novel to life. Sound design by Scott Lehrer, costume design by Tracy Christensen, lighting design by Brian Tovar, and projections by Wendall K. Harrington.
