Carnegie Hall

Girma Yifrashewa, international classical pianist and composer, makes his Zankel Hall debut with his original works and tributes to Ethiopian composers Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou and Dr. Ashenafi Kebede. Girma performs a fusion of Ethiopian and other African folk melodies with Western art music, and will showcase works by Louis Moreau Gottschalk along with his latest work.
