This year’s annual Leo B. Ruiz Memorial Recital features Juilliard’s 2024 Ruiz Award recipient, bassist Nina Bernat, alongside pianist Umi Garrett in a program of works by Mendelssohn, Janáček, Prokofiev, Walker, and Shinuh Lee.
