Mainstage Performances

Enjoy live performances by Falu and Swing Makes You Sing!

Spring Sing

Welcome springtime as you sing along to festive songs that celebrate nature and the beauty of Planet Earth. Artists Emily Eagen, Skye Soto Steele, and Diana Schwam lead this interactive singing experience that the whole family can enjoy.

Conduct Us

Ensemble Connect members guide fun activities where your family can take the lead, conducting the performers in a mini-concert experience.

Pollinator Dance

Enjoy an interactive classical performance that celebrates NYC’s local pollinators, including birds and butterflies. Families are invited to join in the fun by dancing along to the music, played by Ocean Music Action and featuring violin, flute, cello, bass, and harp along with a dancer.

Origami Butterfly Garden

Let your creativity bloom by crafting origami butterflies, flowers, and birds with the whole family.

Coloring Station

Bring spring to life with vibrant colors as you celebrate music, animals, and nature!

Instrument Build and Play

Team up with the musical masterminds of Bash the Trash to craft your own instruments from recycled treasures. Then take the stage alongside the artists and jam out in an exciting live performance!

Sound Meditation

Looking for a more soothing experience? Travel on a peaceful journey of sound in this deep-listening meditation that explores our connection with nature. This calm space features instruments from around the world, and is led by Michele Schifferle-Marzulli and Eileen Moran.

Quiet Zone and Family Care Room

Need a calming place to recharge? Take a break in the Quiet Zone, which is designed for families seeking a quiet area. Or take advantage of our Family Care Room, which is open to families attending to personal needs like infant feeding.

Family Days are made possible, in part, by endowment gifts from Linda and Earle S. Altman, The Irene Diamond Fund, Mr. and Mrs. Lester S. Morse Jr., and the Henry and Lucy Moses Fund.
