Cellist Madeline Fayette is building a career as a versatile musician in New York City. Highlights of past seasons include a performance on WQXR’s Young Artists Showcase, participating in the Celebration of Women concert as part of the Rhinebeck Chamber Music Society’s 2015 season, and a performance of the Brahms Double Concerto with Long Island’s Sound Symphony Orchestra. Most recently, Madeline toured Japan as part of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Her festival appearances include Yellow Barn, Sarasota, and Kneisel Hall. Madeline recently joined the cello sections of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Symphony in C, and New York Classical Players. She has also appeared with the Metropolis Ensemble and Ensemble Échappé. Madeline holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Natasha Brofsky and Bonnie Hampton. As part of her fellowship with Ensemble Connect, Madeline teaches at Maspeth High School in Queens.
