In this performance at Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts, Marin Alsop leads the China NCPA Orchestra and Chorus in a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony that features a Chinese translation of the "Ode to Joy." The concert also features newly commissioned music from renowned composer Huang Ruo and stimulates community participation by acting as a springboard for projects at local schools.
