Mari Lee has performed throughout the UK, Europe, and the US in such prominent venues as the Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall (London), Festival de Radio France (Montpellier), Menuhin Festival Gstaad (Switzerland), and Jordan Hall (Boston). She has appeared as soloist with the London Mozart Players and Baden-Baden Philharmonic, among others. An avid chamber musician, Mari has been invited to internationally renowned festivals such as Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute, Kuhmo Chamber Music, Krzyżowa, and Marlboro. Mari completed her bachelor’s degree at the New England Conservatory, with honors, under the tutelage of Miriam Fried, and her postgraduate degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Nora Chastain. Mari plays a 1764 Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi violin kindly provided by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins. As part of her fellowship with Ensemble Connect, Mari teaches at PS Q016 The Nancy DeBenedittis School in Queens.
