2024 Summer Music Educators Workshop

Innovation in the Music Classroom: Taking Small Steps Towards Lasting Change
June 29–July 2, 2024

What does innovation look like in your music classroom? What small steps can educators make to see big changes in their student’s music learning? More than 150 K–12 music educators from across the country gathered at Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing from June 29–July 2, 2024, to expand the impact of their work with young musicians. Through the theme of innovation, teachers explored Carnegie Hall’s Great Music Teaching Framework with faculty, connected with peers from across the country, and invested in their own artistry through participatory music making sessions.
