Maxim Vengerov Master Class: Mozart with Orchestra

Each season, emerging artists are given valuable access to world-class performers and composers who have established themselves on Carnegie Hall’s stages. In the 2024–2025 season, Perspectives artist Maxim Vengerov will lead a distinctive master class for up-and-coming violin soloists devoted to the Mozart violin concertos nos. 3 and 5 performed with orchestra.

Six violinists will be invited to the class, which will include private coaching with piano, on November 9, 2024, and the public master class the following day, November 10, 2024, in the Resnick Education Wing. Each participant will be asked to perform the solo part and lead the orchestra in a movement of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3, K. 216 or No. 5, K. 219.
