In Janine Jansen’s December 2024 recital with pianist Denis Kozhukhin, she pairs arch-Romantic works by Clara and Robert Schumann with Brahms’s genial Violin Sonata No. 2 and his achingly lyrical Violin Sonata No. 3. In March 2025, she joins the London Symphony Orchestra with Sir Antonio Pappano in Bernstein’s Serenade (after Plato’s Symposium), an extraordinary piece premiered by Isaac Stern.
