Los Angeles Philharmonic

Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic kick off our 2024–2025 season with three consecutive performances! On October 8, they welcome piano superstar Lang Lang as soloist for Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night Gala. On October 9, they perform the complete incidental music from Felix Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, plus the New York premiere of a concerto by Gabriela Ortiz, Carnegie Hall’s 2024–2025 Debs Composer’s Chair, composed for cellist extraordinaire Alisa Weilerstein. On October 10, the orchestra reunites with 17-time Latin Grammy winner Natalia Lafourcade, following the singer’s sold-out Carnegie Hall debut in 2022.

All three performances are part of Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros sonidos, an ongoing celebration of Latin culture in the US.
