RESOURCES FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS

Digital Music Production

Producer and percussionist Charles Burchell welcomes you to his digital music studio to play around with the tools and ideas behind much of the popular music of the last 50 years. Charles walks you through the different components of digital music production, providing a step-by-step approach to creating loops, beats, basslines, melodies, and arrangements. He demonstrates techniques for creating new music in a range of digital programs, so you can begin creating your digital music right away. You can use whatever computer program you would like to follow along with this course, but we recommend SoundTrap for any producer just getting started.
