Across the Stars: The Music of John Williams
On April 21, 2022, Carnegie Hall presented a once-in-a-lifetime concert and black-tie gala event in honor of America’s beloved maestro, John Williams. Conducting a full program of his unparalleled compositions, Williams led superstar violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and The Philadelphia Orchestra in a historic performance. The entire evening was sensational, and the pre-concert cocktail party and post-concert dinner with the artists added a special touch to an unforgettable experience. The evening would not have been the success that it was without Honorary Gala Chairs Mercedes T. Bass, Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller, George Lucas, Yo-Yo Ma, Elizabeth Segerstrom, Hope and Robert F. Smith, Steven Spielberg, and Barbra Streisand.
