Janine Jansen by Marco Borggreve, Denis Kozhukhin by Marco Borggreve
International audience favorite and recent Carnegie Hall Perspectives artist Janine Jansen is a violin virtuoso of rare sensitivity, whose sound on this very stage was praised as “one of astonishing power and beauty” (The New York Times). She is joined by pianist Denis Kozhukhin for a particularly well-loved Beethoven sonata of mesmerizing scope and difficulty, Brahms’s achingly lyrical Violin Sonata No. 3, and Schubert’s eminently tuneful “Duo” Sonata.
