The 170 voices of Cecilia Chorus of New York pairs Brahms's Requiem with the New York premiere of Hailstork's The World Called, performed alongside words by former poet laureate Rita Dove, who will recite her work from the stage. A celebration of life and service, the concert honors the memory of Heather Heyer in what would have been her 40th year. Heyer's mother Susan Bro will address the audience.
