Carnegie Hall+ September Highlights

Explore an array of curated concerts, operas, dance, and more on Carnegie Hall’s subscription video on-demand channel. This month, we continue our journey to the world’s great music festivals. Brand-new programs include Joshua Bell and the Bamberg Symphony at the BBC Proms, Daniel Barenboim celebrating Wagner and Verdi at 200, Cecilia Bartoli in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri, Mariss Jansons conducting the Vienna Philharmonic in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades, Gustavo Dudamel at Beethovenfest, and Verdi’s final opera performed in a truly special setting.

BBC Proms: Dvořák’s Violin Concerto (2019)
New to Carnegie Hall+

Joshua Bell is soloist in Dvořák’s lyrical Violin Concerto, with Czech conductor Jakub Hrůša leading the Bamberg Symphony at the BBC Proms. The program continues with Smetana’s Má vlast cycle, including the beloved “Moldau.”
