A New York holiday tradition was born on Christmas Eve in 1969, with a midnight performance by the New York String Orchestra. Fifty-six years later, the youthful ensemble annually draws local fans and worldwide visitors for an even more irresistible offering: a 7 PM, intermission-free, all-Mozart concert. Join fellow music lovers as Jaime Laredo conducts the Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, the exhilarating Symphony No. 40, and Piano Concerto No. 27, featuring Anna Polonsky.
