Appearing in a rare chamber-music setting, Vengerov welcomes five of today’s leading instrumentalists for a program of Brahms’s masterpieces. With the singular Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Iván Fischer, Vengerov performs Sibelius’s unforgettable concerto, a virtuosic violin showcase. Vengerov also returns to the recital stage with pianist Polina Osetinskaya, with whom he has an outstanding partnership.
