Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Israel Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble
The renowned Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) has been a powerful presence on Carnegie Hall’s stages since 1951, with performances led by such luminaries as Zubin Mehta, Leonard Bernstein, and Gustavo Dudamel. Now, esteemed music director, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist Lahav Shani takes the helm, leading the orchestra and extraordinary guests in an ambitious range of symphonic music both well-loved and overlooked.
Plus, selected orchestra members also perform as the Israel Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra in the intimate Zankel Hall, collaborating with guest soloists in unique chamber music programs.
