Chamber Sessions I
Chamber music means endless possibility for composers and performers alike. In this series, experience the exciting duo of violinist Lisa Batiashvili and pianist Giorgi Gigashvili, plus three of the world’s leading string quartets: the Belcea Quartet, Brooklyn Rider, and Takács Quartet. Hear world-class performances of masterworks by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Debussy, Bartók, Franck, and more, and discover new pieces by Clarice Assad, Don Byron, Ted Hearne, Angélica Negrón, Brett Dean, and Josef Bardanashvili.

Chamber Sessions II
Experience four of Carnegie Hall’s most-anticipated chamber music concerts. Conductor Lahav Shani makes his Carnegie Hall debut as a pianist, performing with the Israel Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble and guest artists Pinchas Zukerman and Amanda Forsyth. In Zankel Hall Center Stage, the Dover Quartet pairs timeless string quartets with exciting New York premieres. One of the world’s finest chamber musicians, violist Tabea Zimmermann performs in recital with pianist Javier Perianes. Plus, hear all three of Brahms’s legendary piano quintets performed by Kirill Gerstein with Soloists of the Kronberg Academy.

Connections: Ensemble Connect and Decoda
Celebrate classical music’s bright future with two ensembles known for their virtuosity, curiosity, and endless sense of adventure. Across three concerts, the new fellows of Ensemble Connect perform works by Arvo Pärt, Barber, Ives, Wynton Marsalis, and Joan Tower, plus a New York premiere by George Lewis. Hear Decoda—a group of extraordinary Ensemble Connect alums—in American Renaissance, featuring works by William Grant Still, Florence Price, Ives, Jessie Montgomery, Margaret Bonds, Sarah Elizabeth Charles, and Zenobia Powell Perry.

Quartets Plus
Experience a breathtaking selection of string quartets performed in Carnegie Hall’s most intimate venue. This season, the Quartets Plus series features works by some of the art form’s most distinctive composers, including Beethoven, Bosmans, Brahms, György Kurtág, Felix Mendelssohn, Ravel, and Schubert, plus an ambitious all-American program of Philip Glass, Andrew Norman, Barber, Johnston, and Price.

Juilliard at Zankel Hall
Carnegie Hall presents exceptional artists from The Juilliard School in this brand-new concert series. Dynamic programs celebrate Juilliard’s unique blend of tradition and innovation, highlighting the vibrant future of music, dance, and drama. Celebrate a new generation of artists in the modern and versatile Zankel Hall.

The Knights
Led by Colin Jacobsen and Eric Jacobsen, The Knights expand classical music’s boundaries with innovative programming, exuberant performances, and insatiable curiosity. Across three concerts this season, they perform symphonies by Robert Schumann and Haydn; a chamber-music masterpiece by Felix Mendelssohn; New York premieres by Osvaldo Golijov and Gabriel Kahane; a distinctive tintinnabuli piece by Arvo Pärt; an inspired melding of Philip Glass’s Symphony No. 3 with poetry by J. Mae Barizo; and a varied reflection on the United States, featuring music by Ellington, Bonds, Ljova, Copland, and more.

The Met Orchestra Chamber Ensemble
This constantly evolving ensemble features members of the illustrious Met Orchestra in programs of great ambition and variety. The ensemble adapts to fit the instrumental needs of any piece of music, offering endless programming possibilities. In the intimacy of Weill Recital Hall, hear all-time chamber-music classics, hard-to-find hidden gems, and standout works by several of today’s leading composers. Soloists include Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Erin Morley, and more.

Young Concert Artists
Since 1961, Young Concert Artists has been at the forefront of discovering and launching the careers of classical music’s future leaders, including such luminaries as Emanuel Ax, Julia Bullock, Anne Akiko Meyers, Jeremy Denk, Ray Chen, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Kevin Puts, Sasha Cooke, and many more. In this brand-new series presented by Carnegie Hall, audiences discover the next artists joining this incredibly prestigious organization.

Baroque Unlimited
Baroque music is a vibrant, varied, and endlessly entertaining living tradition performed by imaginative 21st-century virtuosos. This season, discover the brilliant Wonder Women project by Christina Pluhar and L’Arpeggiata with guest vocalists. Visionary director Jonathan Cohen leads the Handel and Haydn Society in cantatas by J. S. Bach and Telemann, plus one of the Brandenburg concertos. Concerto Köln returns with a wide-ranging program of early-music gems, including a Vivaldi double concerto performed by violinist Shunske Sato and recorder player Max Volbers in his Carnegie Hall debut.

Fast Forward I
This concert series is designed for cultural omnivores and fans with an appetite for artistic adventure. Be transported into Arvo Pärt’s mystical musical world by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. Hear the brilliant piano duo of Timo Andres and Aaron Diehl in works by Ellington, Monk, and Julia Wolfe, plus a world premiere by Andres. For one night only, experience Hello, America: Letters to Us, from Us, a program of premieres performed by the prolific American Composers Orchestra. Explore a musical triptych by the game-changing Kronos Quartet with Quentin E. Baxter, Laura Ortman, and Wu Man.

Fast Forward II
Bring a sense of discovery and journey into three singular musical performances. The prolific American Composers Orchestra performs an innovative program of new works, new instruments, and more. Violin virtuoso Gidon Kremer celebrates his beloved collaborator Arvo Pärt, one of the most impactful composers of the past century. Plus, hear The Crossing—“America’s most astonishing choir” (The New York Times)—in a program of its own curation, featuring New York premieres by Wang Lu, Tania León, and Ayanna Woods.

Cross Currents
Explore a three-concert, genre-crossing series for the culturally curious. Blending classical music with 21st-century singer-songwriters and other surprises, yMusic has “a language all their own.” Hear them perform new music by Gabriella Smith, a collaboration with soul-pop innovator and vocalist Emily King, and more. Ruckus, “the world’s only period instrument rock band” (San Francisco Chronicle), teams up with visionary bass-baritone Davóne Tines to reflect on 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Cellist Alisa Weilerstein continues her multi-year, multisensory FRAGMENTS performance series, blending J. S. Bach’s solo cello suites with visual components and new works by leading composers.

Friday Nights in Zankel Hall
Kick off three weekends with a one-night-only, one-of-a-kind performance in the contemporary Zankel Hall. Visionary cellist Alisa Weilerstein continues her multisensory, multi-year FRAGMENTS series, combining timeless solo cello suites by J. S. Bach with visual components and new works by top composers. The bold Danish String Quartet and Danish National Girls’ Choir give visceral power to 1,000 years of women-centered music alongside a premiere by David Lang. Plus, witness “the New York standard for percussion innovation” (The New Yorker) as the Grammy-winning Sō Percussion performs with interdisciplinary tap dance artist Michael J. Love.

Great Artists I
Experience leading musicians in five of the most high-profile performances of the season. Violinist Hilary Hahn and pianist Lang Lang perform their debut duo recital. Groundbreaking conductor Marin Alsop leads London’s Philharmonia Orchestra with pianist Alexandre Kantorow. Eminent pianists Leif Ove Andsnes and Emanuel Ax each return to the recital stage. An all-star quintet of Leonidas Kavakos, Gil Shaham, Antoine Tamestit, Clemens Hagen, and Alisa Weilerstein perform a concert of chamber-music masterworks.

Great Artists III
Created in response to the overwhelming popularity of Great Artists I and II, this recently added series is your chance to get the best seating for five of the season’s biggest concerts. Enjoy recitals by world-renowned violinist and Carnegie Hall icon Kyung Wha Chung; Behzod Abduraimov, called “the most perfectly accomplished pianist of his generation” (The Independent); and the illuminating Víkingur Ólafsson, who performs seminal works by J. S. Bach and Beethoven, plus an exceedingly elusive sonata by Schubert. Also, enjoy a pair of history-making all-star chamber music events: an all-Brahms performance by Maxim Vengerov, Vilde Frang, James Ehnes, Daniel Müller-Schott, Yefim Bronfman, and Anthony McGill; and a Sunday matinee that features Evgeny Kissin, Joshua Bell, and Steven Isserlis.

Early Music in Weill Recital Hall
Discover the vast and vibrant world of early music at Carnegie Hall. Hear the acclaimed partnership between cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and lutenist Thomas Dunford, who perform works by Marais, J. S. Bach, Duparc, A. Forqueray, and Arvo Pärt. Enjoy a “bewitching and endlessly inventive” (The Guardian) celebration of a one-of-a-kind Italian Baroque pioneer, performed by violinist Amandine Beyer and period ensemble Gli Incogniti. Welcome the return of Twelfth Night’s celebrated artistic directors—violinist Rachell Ellen Wong and harpsichordist David Belkovski—in a wide-ranging program of violin sonatas and more, featuring cellist Coleman Itzkoff.
