Great Artists I
Experience leading musicians in five of the most high-profile performances of the season. Violinist Hilary Hahn and pianist Lang Lang perform their debut duo recital. Groundbreaking conductor Marin Alsop leads London’s Philharmonia Orchestra with pianist Alexandre Kantorow. Eminent pianist Leif Ove Andsnes returns to the recital stage. An all-star quintet of Leonidas Kavakos, Gil Shaham, Antoine Tamestit, Clemens Hagen, and Alisa Weilerstein performs a concert of chamber-music masterworks.

Great Artists II
Hear four unforgettable concerts in Carnegie Hall’s most iconic venue. Pianists Nobuyuki Tsujii and Khatia Buniatishvili return as two of today’s most popular recitalists. Violinist extraordinaire Maxim Vengerov performs sonatas by Brahms, Schubert, and Shostakovich with pianist Polina Osetinskaya. Plus, experience a daring collaboration between singer Joyce DiDonato, the Grammy-winning Time for Three trio, and Musical America’s 2024 Composer of the Year Kevin Puts in the New York premiere of his Emily Dickinson–inspired song cycle.

Great Artists III
Created in response to the overwhelming popularity of Great Artists I and II, this recently added series is your chance to get the best seating for five of the season’s biggest concerts. Enjoy recitals by world-renowned violinist and Carnegie Hall icon Kyung Wha Chung; Behzod Abduraimov, called “the most perfectly accomplished pianist of his generation” (The Independent); and the illuminating Víkingur Ólafsson, who performs seminal works by J. S. Bach and Beethoven, plus an exceedingly elusive sonata by Schubert. Also, enjoy a pair of history-making all-star chamber music events: an all-Brahms performance by Maxim Vengerov, Vilde Frang, James Ehnes, Daniel Müller-Schott, Yefim Bronfman, and Anthony McGill; and a Sunday matinee that features Evgeny Kissin, Joshua Bell, and Steven Isserlis.

Carnegie Classics
Enjoy a quintessential Carnegie Hall experience in this globetrotting, four-concert series that brings top ensembles and soloists to our grandest stage. The Estonian Festival Orchestra performs its North American debut in celebration of Arvo Pärt, joined by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir; soloists Midori, Hans Christian Aavik, and Nico Muhly; and more. The Cleveland Orchestra performs Mozart’s final symphony and Shostakovich’s monumental Symphony No. 11. Violinist Joshua Bell leads Academy of St. Martin in the Fields in works by Robert Schumann, Brahms, and others. Early-music icon Jordi Savall traverses five centuries and “a sea of music” with Hespèrion XXI, La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Tembembe Ensamble Continuo, and artists from numerous international traditions.

International Festival of Orchestras II
Experience celebrated orchestras from around the world in the storied acoustics of Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Hear symphonies by Rachmaninoff, Barraine, Brahms, Mozart, and Dvořák; concertos by Felix Mendelssohn, Saint-Saëns, Ravel, and Sibelius; and distinctive works by the visionary Arvo Pärt, Dongshoon Shin, and more. Featured artists include the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Jaap van Zweden with violinist Bomsori Kim; Orchestre National de France and Cristian Mǎcelaru with pianist Daniil Trifonov; Budapest Festival Orchestra and Iván Fischer with violinist Maxim Vengerov; and Vienna Philharmonic with Andris Nelsons.

International Festival of Orchestras III
Every great orchestra has its own unmistakable sound, revealed in exquisite detail in Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. In this three-concert series, hear rich symphonic works by G. Mahler, Brahms, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Ben-Haim, and Bartók performed by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Lahav Shani, Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Vienna Philharmonic and Andris Nelsons. Soloists include pianist Lang Lang, violinists Pinchas Zukerman and Veronika Eberle, and cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras.

Orchestra of St. Luke’s
Discover what makes New York City’s storied Orchestra of St. Luke’s (OSL) a staple of every Carnegie Hall season. Raphaël Pichon conducts a program anchored in the works of Beethoven, including his Ninth Symphony and selections that showcase featured vocalists. Andrew Manze conducts Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring acclaimed Beethoven interpreter Paul Lewis, as well as Haydn’s Symphony No. 47 in G Major and John Adams’s Fearful Symmetries, which Adams wrote for OSL. Louis Langrée leads an all-American concert of Ellington, Ives, Bernstein, and Gershwin, featuring jazz pianist Gerald Clayton. Masaaki Suzuki conducts a program of masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven, and Felix Mendelssohn, joined by star violinist Midori.

Chamber Sessions I
Chamber music means endless possibility for composers and performers alike. In this series, experience the exciting duo of violinist Lisa Batiashvili and pianist Giorgi Gigashvili, plus two of the world’s leading string quartets: the Belcea Quartet and Takács Quartet. Hear world-class performances of masterworks by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Debussy, Bartók, Franck, and more, and discover new pieces by Clarice Assad, Brett Dean, and Josef Bardanashvili.

Chamber Sessions II
Experience three of Carnegie Hall’s most-anticipated chamber music concerts. Conductor Lahav Shani makes his Carnegie Hall debut as a pianist, performing with the Israel Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble and guest artists Pinchas Zukerman and Amanda Forsyth. One of the world’s finest chamber musicians, violist Tabea Zimmermann performs in recital with pianist Javier Perianes. Plus, hear all three of Brahms’s legendary piano quintets performed by Kirill Gerstein with Soloists of the Kronberg Academy.

Baroque Unlimited
Baroque music is a vibrant, varied, and endlessly entertaining living tradition performed by imaginative 21st-century virtuosos. This season, discover the brilliant Wonder Women project by Christina Pluhar and L’Arpeggiata with guest vocalists. Visionary director Jonathan Cohen leads the Handel and Haydn Society in cantatas by J. S. Bach and Telemann, plus one of the Brandenburg concertos. Concerto Köln returns with a wide-ranging program of early-music gems, including a Vivaldi double concerto performed by violinist Shunske Sato and recorder player Max Volbers in his Carnegie Hall debut.

Early Music in Weill Recital Hall
Discover the vast and vibrant world of early music at Carnegie Hall. Hear the acclaimed partnership between cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and lutenist Thomas Dunford, who perform works by Marais, J. S. Bach, Duparc, A. Forqueray, and Arvo Pärt. Enjoy a “bewitching and endlessly inventive” (The Guardian) celebration of a one-of-a-kind Italian Baroque pioneer, performed by violinist Amandine Beyer and period ensemble Gli Incogniti. Welcome the return of Twelfth Night’s celebrated artistic directors—violinist Rachell Ellen Wong and harpsichordist David Belkovski—in a wide-ranging program of violin sonatas and more, featuring cellist Coleman Itzkoff.
