Program Details
As a part of Musical Explorers in the 2023–2024 school year, participating teachers will receive
- two interactive concerts (winter and spring) per year, either in Zankel Hall or via the Musical Explorers on-demand videos
- Please note, the 2023–2024 concert season will not be filmed for digital distribution. Students and teachers will have access to Musical Explorers Digital, with twelve digital concert experiences to choose from.
- two required professional development workshops (fall and spring)
- a Teacher Guide featuring lessons and creative extensions for yearlong coursework, geared toward both music teachers and general classroom teachers
- Student Guide workbooks
- digital resources, including video and audio recordings

Professional Development Workshop Schedule
All participating teachers are required to attend two professional development workshops (each 2.5 hours long): one in the fall of 2023, and one in the winter of 2024 at Carnegie Hall. Carnegie Hall staff will keep registered teachers abreast of the location as updates become available. Carnegie Hall staff will update registered teachers as the location becomes available.

There is a fee of $6 per student and $50 per teacher. Schools are permitted to bring one chaperone free of charge for every 10 students. Payment by personal check, credit card, or copy of certified purchase order is due by Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
