Program Details
As a part of Musical Explorers in the 2024–2025 school year, participating teachers will
- participate in an in-person concert experience in Zankel Hall or via the Musical Explorers on-demand videos.
- Please note, the 2024–2025 concert season will not be filmed for digital distribution. Students and teachers will have access to Musical Explorers Digital, with twelve digital concert experiences to choose from.
- two required professional development workshops (fall and spring)
- a Teacher Guide featuring lessons and creative extensions for yearlong coursework, geared toward both music teachers and general classroom teachers
- Student Guide workbooks
- digital resources, including video and audio recordings
All participating teachers are required to attend two professional development workshops (each 2.5 hours long): one in the fall of 2024, and one in the winter of 2025 at Carnegie Hall. Carnegie Hall staff will keep registered teachers abreast of the location as updates become available. Carnegie Hall staff will update registered teachers as the location becomes available.

There is a fee of $6 per student and $50 per teacher. Schools are permitted to bring one chaperone free of charge for every 10 students. Payment by personal check, credit card, or copy of certified purchase order is due by Friday, January 31, 2025.
