Program Details
As a part of Musical Explorers in the 2025–2026 school year, participating teachers will
- participate in an in-person concert in Zankel Hall or watch via the Musical Explorers on-demand videos.
- Please note, the 2025–2026 concert season will only be filmed for digital distribution in the Spring semester. Students and teachers will have access to Musical Explorers Digital, with 12 digital concert experiences to choose from.
- attend two required professional development workshops (fall and spring)
- receive a Teacher Guide featuring lessons and creative extensions for yearlong coursework, geared toward both music teachers and general classroom teachers
- receive Student Guide workbooks
- have access to digital resources, including video and audio recordings
All participating teachers are required to attend two professional development workshops (each 2.5 hours long): one in the fall of 2025, and one in the winter of 2026 at Carnegie Hall. Carnegie Hall staff will keep registered teachers abreast of the location as updates become available. Carnegie Hall staff will update registered teachers as the location becomes available.

There is a fee of $6 per student and $50 per teacher. Schools are permitted to bring one chaperone free of charge for every 10 students. Payment by personal check, credit card, or copy of certified purchase order is due by Saturday, January 31.
